By: Daniel B. Wallace, CEO & Executive Director of CSNTM
With sorrow today, we at CSNTM honor and remember Filippos Tsimpoglou, the late Director General of the National Library of Greece. From 2014 until his untimely death, he led the library through important projects. The CSNTM team worked closely with Filippos from 2014–2016 in a great collaborative effort to digitally preserve hundreds of Greek New Testament manuscripts in the library’s collection. He continued to be a good friend and correspondent after our years of work in Athens. Besides ongoing work with CSNTM to seek out and connect with other Greek institutions holding New Testament manuscripts, Filippos had an incredible vision for the National Library. He was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
